In May 2018, GHC will have a ten-day trip to one of the most important and intriguing nations in the world today, China. Our trip will take us to Beijing to see fascinating sites such as Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall of China. We will then travel to the city of Xi’an to see one of the wonders of ancient China, the Terra Cotta Warriors. Finally, our trip will end in the modern business city of Shanghai. While the trip to China is open to all GHC students interested in Chinese culture, coinciding with GHC’s new bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, the trip will also have a business focus. As such, we will attend a university lecture on doing business in China and will visit branches of important multinational companies in China such as Coca-Cola and Volkswagen to learn how business is done in China. Students who go on the China trip will have the opportunity to take a class in subjects such as Business, History and Communications.
